NSC refers to 'No Spinal Cord'
Our system is all BONELESS with no bone meal residue.
We are able to strip carcass thoroughly to the bone, reducing waste and optimizing meat yields. We never expose or disturb the spinal cord. If the spinal cord is not exposed and no bone meal is spread over the product, the chance of BSE, or Mad Cow Disease contaminating the beef is greatly reduced or eliminated.
